Happy Monday! Or is it?

So my last week was absolutely non-stop. First week of school, extra meetings at work, a little public speaking too. In fact, as I was reflecting on last week, I think I had some extra Mondays. You know what I'm talking about, right? Those days where things just don't go the way you were expecting. One of those Murphy's Law days. At least two days last week were Mondays. I don't mind extra days in general, but what I want are extra Fridays. Is that too much to ask? Fridays are nice because everyone is happy and looking forward to a nice weekend and so are willing to work together better to reach that glorious end of the day.

So I was wondering, is it just me or are Mondays the slowest most unproductive, if something can go wrong it will day of the week?

Is there anyone who wants to vent their Monday stories here? (sometimes, others can feel better reading about someone else having a bad day. I think it may even be therapeutic. So dish already, you'll feel better)

Sorry I may disappoint on this subject today. My schedule varies from week to week so it just so happens that Monday for me this week is Wednesday. It’s 4pm in the afternoon and I’m no different now than when I rolled out of bed at 9am. Just catching up with commenting and discovering new blogs like your own, right here.
Hope everyone is having a “Happy Wednesday”.

Mondays are the most non productive days. I hate to even do anything, or have anything scheduled. It is the day I recover from the weekend, get kids off to school, and CHILL! I slowly piddle around the house but come september, Monday will be a day I have to go to work! UGHHhhhhhhh, my body is repulsing at the thought!

I choose to make mondays the day I get everything done or at least most of it,That way the rest of the week I feel a burden has been lifted off.

Is it Monday? Oh yeah I just wake up, I'm so unproductive. I honestly feel bad about writing down 8 hours on my time sheet. b/c I don't get into full swing until Wednesday ... then it like i'm on an lanch pad racing to get everything done.......

Good blog!

Hi...first time visitor and I forgot where I came from, haha! Oh well...at least I found my way here and I'm enjoying my visit a lot. I'm a stay-at-home Grandma taking care of my two grandsons, ages 5 months and 2 1/2. Monday is always a hard day, getting back into the groove of our everyday routine after they've been run all over the countryside by their parents over the weekend, HA! But Tuesday comes around and all is well again.

I don't really have anything to vent about, but I just wonder why it is so darn hard to get out of bed on Mondays. Yuck!

I have always been a stay at home mom and I look forward to Monday's. Kids tend to forget that mom's have a titch of a life, too. Tuesday - Sunday on are crazy. Public Speaking?? I would never get out of bed. I don't do that!!! I wish I could. I would swear any day was bad if I had to do that!

Being a good 'ol Irishman... Murphy WAS an optimist...

Mondays suck. Period. Bleh. No stories. Just agreeance.

(And annoying choppy sentences. ;o)

Hmmmm....I guess I'm the odd one out. I don't really have a problem with Monday. I kind of like it---"back to the routine" or whatever. Now that Thursday--he better watch his back!
